Any ideas about how to get rid of oil spilt in my boot? I can not get the carpet out and now anything I put in there gets covered!

Many thanks in advance!

Spray wd40 onto a dry cloth and dab from the outside of the stain to the middle.Worked a treat when I got oil on my cardigan.

If there is a fair amount of oil then buy a bottle of good concentrated washing up liquid and pour it on the spill neat. Then use warm water and an old rag to work up a good lather. Dry it as much as you can with more old rags. You might need to repeat this if there is a lot of oil. Once it's all dry it should be OK.
wd40 first, and rags
then lots of warm soapy water
then try some brake and clutch cleaner from, car parts shops
