knocking noise when I brake

I have a peugeot 407 and just recently I have noticed a sharp knock when I apply the brake. It also occurs when I turn the wheel sharply. It seems to be getting worse it appears to be coming from the front end, but cant seem to find what is causing it

Sounds like something's loose Dennilson.

Have a good look at all the suspension/roll bar joints and bolts. Also check the brake calipers as one might be loose.

Check lower arm bushes and balljoints also strut top bushes. Also look at anti-roll bar drop links.
