The Creative Zen Vision M Media Player

I am wondering if any of you may own this player, and if so are you happy with it? I just got mine and have been having nothing but problems. I can't seem to get my computer to recognize it. I am running windows XP with SP2. All the drivers are installed. The player is stuck on the "Restore" mode. I have reformatted it, but when I try to donwlad the firmware from my computer, it says that I need to install my player, even though it is already installed. Can you offer any soloutions, besides sending it back to Creative?
