There was a report in a newspaper recently showing how many older cars are still on UK roads showing the models and how many of each are left such as..cortinas...allegros etc. I've browsed the net but can't find anything like it. Anyone know how to find this info...Thanks.
Thanks JTP, not quite what I'm after but still interesting, especially table 8 showing how much is lost due to licence dodgers, 146 million!!! meaning 4.7% of the vehicles u see every day are illegally on the road, an accident with one would be a nightmare!
I read the same thing but have no idea where you'd find it now. Things like MK2 Cavaliers and Marinas have all but vanished now.
The exceptions to the rule seems to be Land Rovers and Rolls Royces. There's stats to suggest that upwards of 50% of these ever built are still on the road somewhere.
