I've got water in the boot where the spare tyre is. What could be causing it? I've looked at the seal and it's not that - does anyone else have this problem?

Subaru Imprezas like mine have a habit of suffering the same problem. The cause is water ingress via the seal around one of the rear light clusters, (usually the near side one in fact), maybe yours is the same? I removed the light, scraped all the old sealer out, re fitted the light unit then applied a good amount of bathroom sealent around the edge, (bought from B+Q for a few quid). That was at least three years ago and its been dry ever since.
