claiming from the council for damage from potholes....
Does anyone have any experience of this?
After flooding a square foot of tarmac was missing from the road about 8 inches deep. Since then there has been a lot of vibration through the steering wheel. Hopefully its just a tracking issue but I suspect worse.
Does anybody know what department of the council I should write to, there is no such thing as the Roads Department anymore. Also, I read that the council has to be aware of the fault to be liable for it, is this true?
PS I have photos of the hole in the road
