The gear box on my Nissan Micra has gone, and i have beed advised by my friend/mechanic to scrap the car. I have no money to buy a new one, do you have any advise on cheap cars that will last me!!!!!!? Any particular model that is reliable ect

haha sorry! basiclly it will not change gear, it gets stuck and will not budge! apparently it happens alot in Micra's. The car is dead cos it cost more than the car is worth to fix!!

If you want a cheap runner for a cpl hundred quid and looks don't bother you then look for a good used Renault 5.
I had a 1 litre Renault 5 for a cpl years and apart from a broken cable I had no problems.. I sold it after I bought my Chevrolet Camaro Z28 as it was taking up space and was borring to drive after getting used to a 5 litre V8 muscle car.
