Toddler hair pulling habit
4 Answers
A friend of mine is getting very frustrated with her toddler pulling his hair out. This is causing the scalp to cut in places and obviously the hair isn't able to grow where the toddler is pulling it......obviously a suggestion is to cut the hair really short to stop it, though this is a little drastic.
Does anyone have any experience or advice for a problem of this type?
Thanks in advance

My 18yr old as a toddler used to do something similar, except she'd just tug it, rather than actually yank it out. Eventually she did grow out of it.
Unless someone comes along with better advice I'd say the only solution would be trim his hair to try and help stop it.

Mu daughter used to pull her hair out, just one side.! it looked awful bald one side but she did stop after a while. Now she has really lovley thick hair so dont worry about it. Keep it short until the pulling has stopped. Mind you it is better being a boy than a girl. So tell her not to worry. Brenda
