going through a red light

i accidently went through a red light. i stopped when the red light appeared however thought the lights had change n proceeded to move. when i looked back the lights were still on red. what can i expect to happen??

About a month ago, at the traffic lights in my town, the amber wasnt working and so for a few seconds it seemed like the lights werent working as they were blank, so I went through and as I was moving through them I saw they were at red. I worried for 2 weeks then nothing came. Hopefully they will not fine you and if they did you could always explain to them what you did above.

unless there is a camera at this junction, you will more than likely get away with it.

As has been said, if there is no camera at those set of lights, and you weren't spotted by the police, then nothing will happen. A red light camera looks like the one above.

i did the same christmas eve now biting my nails there is a small camera but pointing over the top at the shopping centre and not down at the lights .the lights went to amber just has i got to them they changed red straight away i was about 6 feet over the line and carried on first time in my life that ever happend to me still biting my nails. i think you should be ok. ps my son did the same thing at the same lights and got summond to court but there was a police car waiting on the other side and it was 2.30 am the police officer told him he was in the wrong place at the wrong time or he would have got away with it. fingers crossed .
