Bentley cars
I am thinking of buying a Bentley saloon to use when I retire in about 3 years. There is a huge range of models dating from about 1985, starting from "T" type then Turbo, then Arnage red labels and Brooklands. I am confused. I do not want to approach a dealer as I am not a time waster. Parker does not seem to list any Bentley so I am a bit lost on the models. Can anybody help with a list of models with the good and bad points as well as features. Thanks in advance.

Note comments like "drops in value like a spanner down a lift shaft" so make sure you're buying at the right point.
I also note comments on the continental R ant T that parts are becomming difficult to source.
This should be a bit of a warning sign if (as it sounds) you're thinking of hanging on to one for a long time.

If your seriously thinking of getting a Bentley join this club and ask a lot off questions.
The older Bentleys 1970s etc can be cheap but probably need thousands spending on them to be perfect.
Good luck with it.
