I have a vauxhall astra 03, 2.2. I need to disconnect the battery to put it on charge. Only whenever i disconnect the battery the alarms sounds.

How can i turn the alarm off once the battery is disconnected?

If you put key in ignition and turn ignition on only then disconnect battery then remove your key should work.

I have the omega - its says in the manual that the battery has to be disonnected within 15 seconds of removing keys from ignition to prevent activating it.
