Corsa car fire

My 2004 Vuaxhall Corsa recently self combusted in the early hours after being stationary on the drive for at least five hours. Have since discovered it should have been recalled for a fault with the wiring harness which could result in fire. Mine was never recalled. Has anyone had a similar experience.

i have 02 corsa sxi and mine has never been recalled !!!!

This suggests there was a fault in March this year of water getting into ABS wiring causing fires. There isn't much detail, but worth pursueing
