I have a Peugeot 309 Trio, Diesel. I have checked the water level, which is OK. The temperature gauge shows OK. But I'm getting no heat in the car. Suggestions please?

Hmmm, I drive a Punto and when this happens, it's a sign that the water level in the radiator is low...so I just top it up. Annoying, but it works. Although I do need to drive about 2 miles before the heat comes through. Will see if my mate has any ideas. He drives a 206.
is the hot and cold switch sticking ie when you turn the heater to hot is it pulling the leaver ,it might be a cable type heater and they sometimes stick or slip,im a bit drunk and hope you know what im on about good luck

I'll try both these sugestions, and will let you know, Thanks
your heater matrix is going or you may have a split water pipe if there is water leaking.
you may have an air lock in ur heater matrix ,in which case try bleeding water through the hoses ,start car up and take off top heater hose till water starts to come through ,keep filling coolant up though
