paying for a tax disc online

has anyone tried this service on the dvla website ,i just did for the first time and am so impressed i thought i would shout their praises from the roof tops !! you have to have a new style digital mot and it only takes about a minute or two from start to end to put your details in and they send you your tax disc-what an improvement to queueing up at the post office

I now do it by this method. The problem is if left too late in the month, because it takes nearly a week to deliver the new one, your car is not displaying a valid tax disc.

i asked about (the tax in post del boy trick)and was told you wont get done as everything is on computer,wouldnt like to try it to find out though.

Kwicky I must have got lucky then, ordered online 28th Dec '06, disc arrived 29th! The only decent government website I've ever used.
