Peugeot 106 1.6 xs

I own a 1997 P Reg Peugeot 106 1.6 XS and i need to change the front brake pads and disks. However, in order to get the right parts i need to know if it has ABS and how many valves the engine has (think its 8??)? Any ideas? Thanks

You should have an ABS warning lamp on the instrument panel if you have ABS: check your handbook. Alternatively, take off a wheel and look for a toothed ring around the hub with a small pick-up sensor nearby.

The 16v engine has a badge on it saying....16v....
