An orange light came on at the top left corner of the dash. It is an orange symbol the shape of a can and the bottom third is infilled black. There are also two little prongs sticking out at 90o from both sides near the top. I havent a manual so don't know the problem. It warning is sited directly above the amber light that comes on when heating the engine. The car is diesel. Any help would be appreciated.

i think its the water in diesel filter warning light

Means you have water in your fuel filter, you should be able to drain the water away manually
Question Author
Is that an easy task Danny as I have never done that before.
Thanks
im unsure on that model but there should be a bleed screew to drain off some fuel along with the water, perhaps on the bottom of the canister

but diesels are funny things, if you end up with no fuel or air in the filter it wont start

id perhaps suggest you pop by your local garage, its a 5 min job for the right person
