Central locking on a Clio II

Does anyone know how to reprogram the central locking and key for a 1998 Clio Mark 2?
Not sure whether it will need doing manually or whether I should take it to an auto electrics garage?

Insurance company will not go to Court, can they do this?

Inside your car turn off the ignition and press and hold the central locking switch in the car itself (don't let go yet). You should hear the doors double lock. Then the light on the dashboard should stop flashing and stay on fully. Whilst STILL (!) pressing the central locking switch press the key fob/blip. Then you can let go of the central locking switch. Try checking it then and see how you get on.
