Can any users tell us which petrol stations have been selling the contaminated petrol which has been causing cars to grind to a halt, and in which part of the country?

I'm worried about filling up my tank, which is running low.

after seeing the news it seems that it isnt any particular petrol stations as it seems to be up and down the country, although they do say that shell hasnt had any bad reports
I thought it was only Tesco and Morrisons, but my mate at work was complaining about his car yesterday morning before he heard it on radio after he filled up at Sainsburys.
The Esso down the road had all the regular unleaded pumps closed off this morning - just premium available
Only premium available?

Funny that, some people might say they were profiteering
Well my daughter filled up at an
Esso garage near her home. It is only a small garage. Her car has been affected and is in the garage at the moment. It is going to cost her at least 200. to sort it out.
The car manufacturers are probably partly to blame for this minor disaster because they are continuously making car engines more and more complicated, to the point where home maintenance is virtually impossible and expensive components, particularly sensors, give up the ghost when faced with slight contmination in the petrol.

My own old rustbucket has never heard of computers, sensors, etc but I suspect that it would run as well on a mixture of Jeyes Fluid and ********* as it does on petrol. (Come to think of it, it doesn't run all that well on petrol anymore!)
The word asterisked by Answerbank's computer is an anagram of Rose Ships. I wonder if the computer would have passed Equine Urine?

(I've never come across a computer programmed to pass Equine Urine, but I'm sure Bill Gates would be working on it if it had any commercial value).
