Reprogramming Ford Radio

Hi, I have just had some work carried out at a garage on my '98' Escort, they disconnected the battery so the radio needs to have the code entered. I have the code but not the Audio Manual, i have figured out how to input the code but do not know which button to press afterwards to enter it. I have tried twice and the radio is now showing attempt no.3 so i do not want to try it again in case it locks itself. Can anyone out there help?? Many thanks in advance!

from what i remember, once you have inputted the code press 5 or 6

hi to enter the code you use presets 1 - 4
for example if your code is 1234
press preset 1 - until it reaches 1
preset 2- until it reaches 2
etc etc
once code is entered press 5
