I have a peugeot 406 1800 cc petrol car.
Today I wanted to change the plugs because its started misfiring and I cant find where the plugs go.
I know that sounds silly I thought that they were at the front but that's the fuel injection set up. can anyone tell me where the plugs are on the engine

Thanks

Not certain but mant modern engines are twin cam with the spark plugs in the centre of the head between the cams.

Try looking for a plastic cover/strip along the top of the engine, they should be under there and a long way down.

If I'm right you'll almost certainly need a long socket set extention to get them out

take off the big plastic cover on the engine, one with the oil filler in. six large ( might be four ) screw clips, turn 90 ". underneath is a module that takes the place of the old style coil. it's long and covers each spark plug. there is a wireing loom that plugs into the left end of it. in effect it's a coil for each plug. i think it's three screws that hold it on.
