Admiral Car Insurance

Any one know if they're any good? I just posted this on finance as well, so apologies if you're reading it twice. I know car insurance comes from just a few different underwriters, but is the service any good at Admiral? I've always previously avoided solely internet insurance companies, but they are quite a bit cheaper than the next best quote.

They are so bad I threatened to refuse to deal with them and refer the whole matter to the ombudsman. Within 48 hours they increased there total loss offer by �1800. This was their internet only company Elephant. Be prepared for serious grief in the event of a claim.

i totally agree i had problems with dd payments of which the paper trail always led back to them even though they blamed my bank and they are not very flexible if a payment is missed, so no go .
myself i switched to churchills and no problems there.
