Can an H.P.I. cat D be removed from vehicle records and what would be required to do this. Many thanks.

It can be removed from the Equifax (HPI) register but not from the records at Swansea, it needs an independent inspection and its expensive. It will always show on the screen when it is tested for MOT certificate

Bought Land Rover Discovery 5years ago for �11000 unaware of H.P.I. against it, now wanting to sell and expecting around �4000 but because of H.P.I. garage would now only offer �1000 trade in hence reason for having it removed.
