Ford 5000 RDS - Lost Radio Code

My Ford Mondeo has been having some starting problems. Sometimes, after a few days, it refuses to start. The garage said that the battery etc seems ok, but yesterday it was flat. I jump started it and took it for a run. I disconnected the battery to assertain if it was a battery, or shorting problem. Anyhow, the radio wont come on now as its asking for a code i never had. The model is a Ford 5000 RDS & the S/N is: M021896.
Can anyone help please?
