I have the new photo drivers licence, and dont know where the counterpart piece of paper is for it. How would I be able to get the counterpart as I have heard that that is more important than the actual photocard.....

Both parts are equally important

Go to the post office and get a driving licence application form and tick you have lost your licenc and send it off and you will get a new one back

Place this together with your plastic bit and don't lose it

thanks hedgehog661.
You will find the paper one. It is in a very safe place and you will remember why you put it there.

Only trouble is this will be the day after the duplicate arrives.

Panic Button.....the panic is over......gave your answer a long thought and walla.........cheers for that it really jogged my memory.
Where was it? I put mine safely in a backgammon set once when I moved house!

panic button. I have got an old identity book from South Africa and a few Rands and Cents that I left in a little cardboard jewellery box right at the bottom and in the corner of my cupboard. The money and the ID is of no use to me so I never even think about it, I have been in this country for over 3 years and when I clean my cupboard out I seem to always just move it back there again and never look in it. But after your message it surely got me thinking./
