any body know how easy it is to fit a new ignition barrel to a 1996 ford fiesta and what tools it involves as the car is not at home so i need to take any tools with me

With the cowlings removed, turn the ignition to position one, under the alloy barrel casing at the top of the column there is a small hole push something into the hole to depress the clip and the barrel will come out.
If the car is 96 it will have the immobiliser ring around the ignition barrel so if you put another barrel in the car will still be immobilised unless you can change the chip in tthe key.
