Bought a car last week and the insurance documents should come this morning can i tax it today or will i lose a month on it? Thanks All

If you tax it today you will in effect be taxing it from August 1st, so you wont be able to drive it until weds.

if you tax it today,it will not run from august the 1st,it will run from july 1st,losing a months tax.

i taxed my car on a normal reminder last sat and it runs untill 31/1/08 but like the last guy said for a newly owned car you could not use it untill wed.
