What come back does a potential purchaser have if they were to buy a car privately?
If I were to sell my car privately does the person buying it have any come back? Could they come back to me in say two months time saying the engine has gone kaput?

You can say 'this has been a great car for me and I've had no problems with it', but you should not say 'You'll have no problems with this car', for example.
If your buyer does wish to pursue a complaint he would have to take it to the Small Claims Court.
So just be careful what you say, and more importantly, how you word the advert.
