I'm going to France soon and have had differing views on the price of diesel in France. Can anyone let me know what the difference is in price between UK and France?
Is it true that the diesel price on their motorways is miles more expensive than elsewhere? If so how much?

gives some hints - diesel is a lot cheaper in France (22%) but (relatively) expensive in motorway service areas
.... to trap the unsuspecting Brits, presumably.
we always buy ours at the supermarket pumps which is cheaper than on the motorways. we make sure we have enough in our tank to get a few miles away from the ports too as its much more expensive there. more or less a tank full in our discovery is approx 30 cheaper than in england. hope this helps! have fun over there its my fav country.
You'll pay about 1E05 at supermarkets, 1E21 on autoroutes.
