Car advice
I've got approx 10k to spend on a car. I want something like a Toyota Celica / Mazda MX5 / Alfa Romeo 147. What can I get with a bit of class, that looks good, and isn't going to be massively expensive to run and insure.... about 2/3 years old ? My favourite was an 04/05 Celica but they've stopped making them - would you let that put you off ?

Toyota's & mazda's seem to hold value quite well!
but others will have their own opinions.
it's your choice at the end of the day - cos it's your cash
just test as many as you can till you find what will suit you
& your running costs,
don't rush into anything or else you could lose out if you find its not your thing!

very different cars there - Coupe, Roadster or Hatchback!!
I was desperate to buy an Alfa (156 Sportwagon) but two friends who are mechanics have told me not to get one - and have gone as far as to say if I do, don't bring it to them!!
Toyotas and Mazdas "never" go wrong, but I'm not a fan of japanese cars - too cheap and hard plasticky!
MX-5s are meant to be amazing handling cars though
I'd personally look at a wider list, but first work out what type of car you want / what you want from the car. Then narrow it down from there!
