ford mondeo passager front electric window

i have an 1998 ford mondeo, the problem being i can open the passager window by the driver switch put can not get the window to go back up, i have checked all switches, but still can not get it to go up

Can you get the window to go up using the passenger door controls? If you can then its probably the wiring to the drivers side switch (loose connection) or a faulty switch. If not, then its probably the 'lifting' mechanism inside the door.

have you tried a squirt of WD 40 on the switch ? or even remove the switch and pull out the plug and WD40 it and re assemble it
