Alfa Key

I've just had to order a new key for my Alfa, having lost one - ******** that I am - and it cost �201.40 (�137.95 for the key itself and �63.45 labour to code it to the car).

Are Alfa keys the most expensive on the market?

This is one of those things that people should be aware of BEFORE buying a particular car - perhaps there is a website for it already but if not there should be.

In the early 1970`s, I bought a new BMW and in the time I had it, twice I had to buy a new plastic bottle for the windscreen ******* in order to pass the MOT. I was totally disgusted with the price they charged and vowed never to have another BMW. Of course this is not something anyone would even think of before buying a new car - or even a used one, but it would be handy to know.
