Top Gear query
I've posted this on the TV section as well so bear with me. On the trailer for Top Gear on Dave on Freeview there is a clip of either Richard Hammond or James May jumping out of a car as it starts to roll back down a very steep hill on what loks like some sort of test track. Does anyone know what this was about? Thanks.

It was to see if you could buy a performance car for 1500.
May bought an XJS, Hammond bought a BMW which was the one rolling backwards and Clarkson bought a can't remember but it was Japanese.
At the test track they had a couple of speed trials, they then went on to drive to the QI club in Oxford then entered a grass track endurence race.

i thought it was the ' lets buy a british car ' debacle...
Hmaster had a Triumph Dolomite - which indeed rolled backwards during a ' can it be held in neutral, handbrake on' test at MIRA testing ground ( Nr to Atherstone on the A5) ... Clarkeson had a 3.5 Rover Sd1 which fell to pieces in front of his eyes..... and May had an Austin Princess!
Need i say more - yet more TV Gold !!!!!!
