ford C-Max problem starting

my c-max is a 53 plate (almost 4 years old) and is serviced on time and runs well usually. Ive had the EGR replaced last year and had a fuel blockage problem last summer but fine other than that.

Saturday it just wouldnt start. The starter motor ticked over but the car would just flash all sorts of errors. I gave up.
sunday it started at 2nd attempt but warning of 'no stearing assist came up and then disappeared'. i switched it off and started it again immediately and got no errors. I didnt drive anywhere though

Today it wont start and is now giving 'no EPB' (electric parking brake) as a fault

has anyone any ideas before i call the garage and try and get it recovered to them for a diagnostic report (you know, those reports that come up with no faults and cost �85 lol)
