wiring fault corsa 1994

i have a problem with my 1994 corsa, when car starts up if i take battery earth lead off car runs perfect but as soon as i put earth lead back on car starts to stutter and stop.help please?????????

If the car is starting on the same battery then it must be ok. But the fault suggests the battery or its wiring is faulty. I would get another known good battery and substitute it for the existing one and see if the problem goes away. I would also check the security of the battery stud connections and the earth point on the chassis.
