i have a bad earth on my 1998 ford escort as my lights and battery light handbrake light are all over the place but ive been told rather than try locate the bad earth simply connect more earths to cure it how do i do this where do i start??

find your earth wire near to your lights that are giving the problem then join a wire to earth wire and attach it to the nearest nut on your bodywork
