WHat's the best way of re-attaching my rear view mirror that falls off every time I adjust it?

other wise go crazy and apply super glue

Did you ensure the glass was perfectly dry and cleaned with methalated spirits. Go to your dealer and buy a double sided sticky pad made for the job. But beware you don`t get condesation on cold glass before sticking it on. Dont use super-glue, as soon as you need to adjust it will come off.

I forgot to mention, be sure the metal mirror attachment is thouroughly clean also, obvious innit? Oh yeah,don`t forget `DONT DRIVE FASTER THAN YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL CAN FLY" Have a safe and Happy Christmas

Firstly what car is it ?? rule of thumb is vauxhalls have glued on mirror bosses to the glass, Fords have mainly double sided sticky pads!! Do not bother with superglue as it will not work long term,

Best bet is to take it to a windscreen replacement centre , and they will squirt some wd40 in the adjuster to make it easier to adjust and stick it back on for free or a drink for the lads..............
