my ford ka battery warning light keeps coming on and going what does ths mean? it has no problems startingI recently had a new heater fixed wondered if it was a loose connection or just a concidence and the problem is something to do with the alternator?

It could be a problem with the alternator. Has the car done a high mileage? If the red light stays on for extended periods of time while you're driving, it means your battery isn't being charged up.
It could be caused by a loose alternator belt � if this is the problem, the warning light is more likely to come on when there is a heavy demand on the cars electrical system (main lights, electric window heaters on etc). Also you may get a �squealing� noise due to the belt slipping on the pulleys.
