As Norman says, we need to know exactly what they quoted you for. I did the same thing once and had the RAC come out. They took it away and drained the tank and charged me around 400. Is using the RAC or AA an option for you? (You could always drive it to a garage and call them in case they aren't interested because you've taken it home).

Well I accidently filled my petrol car with diesel and went on the motorway outside lane doing 80. Of course it suddenly cut out and I lost control, swerved all over, making twelve vehicles in all crash.
But when the policeman got around to asking me what part I played in this carnage, I simply explained that I had "accidently" filled with the wrong fuel. He said "That`s O.K. we all do silly things sometimes - on your way lad"

no clever sod its the amount of times ive popped your sister you f u c k i n g clown!!! in my 10 years of driving various different cars of my own and through work which were both petrol and diesel i have never even came near to making a stupid f u c k i n g mistake like puttingthe wrong fuel in as coincidentaly the diesel pump is black and the unleaded pump green and it also tells you on the f u c k i n g nozzle which fuel it is !!! HOW MUCH MORE EASIER IS IT FOR THESE CLOWNS OTHER THAN TO LOOK AT WHAT PUMP THEY HAVE IN THEIR HAND!!!ITS NOT F U C K I N G ROCKET SCIENCE
