Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi - 02 Plate

Hi,

A few days ago, I was driving along and suddenly my Glow Plug Light started flashing and I suddenly lost most of my power (still driveable, but with very limited power). I pulled over, turned the car off and then started it back up and it drove fine. Now its done it 3 more times, in as many days, each time I lose most of the power, but if I turn it off and back on again, it works fine for awhile. I now know that this is limp mode. I had the AA out and their equipment couldn't read my car's computer very well, but they did get the error P0325 - Knock Sensor Malfunction. I took it to a garage (not ford) and they got the same fault code, they replaced my Camshaft Sensor, but I drove it home from the garage (15 miles) and pulled up, and the Glow Plug started flashing again. Does anyone out there know how to correct this problem? I daren't go on a motorway because I don't want to drop from 70mph to about 30mph in the fast lane. Any help or information would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

I had exactly the same problem with my Focus Tdci took it to my usual Ford dealers expecting a lot of head scratching but they knew the problem and changed the throttle potentiometer no problems since over a year ago no idea of cost unfortunately one of the advantages of a company car. Good Luck
