Advice On Petrol Splashing Around In Tank

I have a Ford Fiesta 56 reg. All of a sudden the petrol has started splashing around in the petrol tank very loudly, sounds like something has collapsed in tank. Any Advice please!! Thank you

what are you talking about,there is nothing in the tank to collapse,are you sure there is not water in your boot slashing around,you might have a leak,

As Norman says, there may be water getting in. Lift the carpet in the boot and check the well where the spare wheel sits. I had about 2 inches of water in mine due to an unkown leak in the hatchback.
