Radio display

Car radio and CD player work, but no display.
Any ideas?

could be that set of wires in the back of the radio that link to the LCD could have torn,

is it one of he displays that detaches for security? If so, remove it, soak it in pure methylated spirits for 24 hours, take it out of the meths, and leave it to dry for another 24 hours. The display should then work fine. Don't ask me how this works, I haven't a clue, but it worked for my pop-out display.
