Which car, the Audi A6 Avant 2.7d or the BMW 525cde touring, has most carriage space in the rear and overall which would you recommend as value for money?

Neither. I have just bought a Volvo D5. A real wolf in sheeps clothing, excellent load space and equipment the other 2 can only dream of (most come with leather, cruise, climate control), and to boot it's cheaper than both the others! It also drives superbly (This from an ex-owner of GTis and RS's who has now grown up!)

Thanks for that dolbyjones. I had thought about looking at the volvo but was impressed with the audi so didn't bother. I will take a look because the audi would not appear to be at all economical, even compared with the bmw. So I'll not do anything yet. thanks
