Can I add roof rails to a Vauxhall Zafira

I'm about to buy a 2004 Zafira "life". This doesn't have the roof rails that run lengthways as standard, but does seem to have a space in the roof trim for adding them. Does anyone know if these can be bought (and if so, how much)?
Have scoured the net, but can only find bars that go across, and they need to fit on to the original bars.
Thanks for any help offered.

you could try emailling vauxhall uk website, and ask them. surely they should know if you can do it.
