i have a 1197 pilot van,was wondering is there something wrong with engine or are ldv pilots normally slow??

Given that it was buit in 1197, it's done well to last this long!

Is it long wheel base?
They tend to be rather underpowered so I'm not surprised to hear your complaint. Although I believe the newer models are an improvement. 1997's a fair age for a van that's been worked though. Probably agree with confused on that score.
