Parked car at 10 pm went back at 11.30pm would not start. Speedo cluster lights only show oil. doors open and seat belt, no other lights ie engine management, fuel, temp, ABS ect. No noise from fuel pump charging up, nothing. All lights work, heater fan, hazards. Had to have car towed home. Had batery checked a local garage, OK. Spent two days checking with my limited ability and got no further. Don't want to go as far as ECU. Anyone ant ideas?

Check all fuses and relays first.
Had a similar problem with a mondeo. Turned out it had lost program for key and imobilizer. had reprogrammed. Cost about �70. Good luck.
