car noise

Hi, I keep getting a strange noise when driving (not while the engines running and stationary) it sounds like a slow finger drumming. Can anyone help please?

Does its tap constantly slow? or does it go up when you rev the engine?

when you are stationary and rev the engine does it tap?
Does the tapping go faster when you increase your speed?

if not its probably something stuck in your wheel

Hi Cazzz

The noise is only when the car is moving. The noise is about the same tempo at whatever speed. I first thought it was something rolling around but I don't know about cars. I will look at the wheels to make sure there isn't a stray pedestrian in there.
