Travelling to NEC early on Thursday via A14/M6. Whats the best site to check on any roadworks/road closures?

Advance traffic news (from Mystic Chris):
There will be a hold up on the A14 around Jn 29 (Bar Hill) because of an accident, and another one somewhere between Jn 2 and the Catthorpe Interchange. That's a safe bet because there are always accidents there every morning ;-)

To be slightly more serious for a moment, do take care if there's any fog about. It's usually at its worst between Kettering and the Catthorpe (M1/M6) Interchange.

Many thanks. already got that site, just wondered if there was one that gave any forthcoming roadworks.

By the way, going for pregnancy test today, will let you know the result. (LOL).
Thanks for the reply. The Highways Agency should know about planned roadworks:

You can also use their Traffic Forecaster, here:

PS: By publicising the fact that you're going to tell me about the results of your pregnancy test, you could start some very interesting rumours about the two of us ;-)
I hope that it's good news, anyway!

That was the point, I said I wanted to have your babies! Hence the LOL. (Which would be somewhat of a miracle at my age!)

Thanks again for the links.
