Keeping the handbag safe?
Just a random wondering :0)
While I was sitting in a traffic jam en route home from work, I locked my doors as my handbag was, as always, sitting on the passenger seat.
How does anyone with a cabriolet keep their belongings safe when the top is down?
Thanks

I am only going short journeys at the moment, and I never EVER use my phone when driving, so there really isn't anything I need!
I am very aware of my personal safety, but I didn't know it was this serious when driving! xx

Hi vis jackets are an excellent idea for all motorists - if you break down on a dark late at night, you will be much safer if you have to get out of your vehicle and change the wheel and so on.
It is a legal requirement in most European countries.
I don't think anybody would be persuaded it was a police officers though - even builders have them

Hi Bath, you have seen the High Vis Jackets worn by the poilce/Ambulance services? I am talking about the UK here, They are only 10. 00 or $20 to bye, it will give someone 2nd thoughts regards cracking your car window if one of these is in view. If you have an open top, There is a simple answer to this, USE YOUR HEAD, DONT POSE, AND LEAVE YOUR BAG IN THE BOOT/ TRUNK.
i always have my handbag in the locked boot along with my packed lunch,,,,,,, my boss goes beserk when she trys to call me! shes a wee bit dense and leaves her bag on full view in the office, mind u its full of crisps and choc so thats a turn off!

Velvety - I don't lock my door until I'm sitting in traffic or driving through a bad part of town, it just doesn't cross my mind until then. Mind you, after what some people have been saying on this thread, I'll be putting my bag in my boot from now on. Thankfully nobody can get into the boot unless they hit the boot lid pop beside the driver door or use the key.
