Hi,
I've managed to put a nice big scratch in the passenger door of my C4 picasso. The area affected is just bigger than the size of the palm of my hand, so about 6 inches across....
I just wondered if anyone could estimate the cost of getting the respray done. The scratch has gone down to the metal, if that makes any difference?
Just so I can have a ball-park figure in my head before receiving quotes from various places.....or would it work out cheaper to try and get a new door from a scrappy's?

it would be a lot cheaper trying to get a door from a breaker,as it will cost about 500 to spray one side of the car,it would need that done so as to blend in new paint, with old.
try chips away or someone like that should cost somewere around 50 - 70.
A scratch like that on metallic paint would cost around 170 inclusive to have repaired.
