peugeot 106 heater switch

any one know how to lift off the center console on a 106 to access the heater switch from the rear? heater only works on number three. one & two are dead. i want to check the swich but can't get the console off, there appears to be no nuts/bolts/screws/clips/ etc to undo. thanks guys ( & girlies )

don't suggest peugeot or french car forum as have tried unsuccessfuly on them already.

There's nothing wrong with the switch.

It will be the Heater blower motor resistor, usually fitted on or near the fan motor.

You have not tried the Renault forum as it is covered extensively on there !

thanks guys. i would never have thought to look on a renault forum 'coza 106 is a pug. but hey-ho ! i'm desperate so i'll try anything.
